Middle School Cheerleading Coach, Salem Public Schools, Salem, MA - INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY

 

 

Duties include safety of athletes, writing and supervising workouts for various events, presence at all meets and fundraising. Previous coaching/playing experience required.

  

This will include: coordinating tryouts, practice planning, game management, and fundraising. The coach will also work to ensure all school policies/procedures are being followed as it relates to the athletic programs.

 

Requirements:  Candidate must be CPR and Heads Up Concussion Certified.

 

Preferred:  Candidate should be tumbling certified or have tumbling experience.

• Experience working with youth athletics, cheerleading, and/or tumbling preferred
• Demonstrates a high degree of energy and a genuine interest in students and their success
• Experience working with students & families of diverse ethnic backgrounds
