2024-2025 Job Opportunities with 21C Bentley - INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY

 

Bentley is seeking teachers and paraprofessionals to work in the 21C after-school program. The program starts on October 15th and will run through May 30th. 21C will serve students in grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.  The program will be run in three 10 week sessions. Staff can apply to work all three sessions or just one or two sessions.

  • 3:00-3:45 Enrichment 1
  • 3:50-4:40 Enrichment 2

Site Coordinator Role: is the point person in charge of the 21C program and responsible for the well-being of students, behavioral challenges, and day-to-day program operations. 

 

Site Coordinator Responsibilities: 

Teachers needed for PBL Blocks & Enrichment Blocks

SPS teachers will be paid contracted hourly rate. 

.5 hours of planning time per week |  3:00-4:00 Program time

Additional Teacher Responsibilities: 

Paraprofessionals are needed to support 21C as group leaders. Group Leaders are essential in supporting students and assisting site coordinators in the day-to-day operations of the program. Group Leaders will be assigned to a group of 12-16 students. Within their assigned group, you will lead activities to build students’ social-emotional skills, reinforce behavior expectations and routines, and provide academic support. Group leaders will build strong positive youth-adult relationships. Group leaders generally work two to four days after school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2:30-5:00 and are paid current hourly district rates.
