What You’ll Do:

In Salem, the After-School Home Tutor provides home instruction for a varied amount of hours per week. The Home Tutor works with students aged 3-22 years, with and without disabilities.

Home Tutor Responsibilities:

• Carry out instructional lessons and therapy plans under the supervision and direction of a special educator, SLP, PT, and/or OT
• Gather and prepare materials required to deliver instruction
• Collect data and work samples, return work and provide feedback to the school team
• Have the physical ability to assist with positioning the student  
• Demonstrate basic computer skills
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
• Possess interpersonal skills and ability to relate to children ages 3-22 and their families
• Work both independently and with multiple team members
• Be reliable with attendance and punctuality
• Communicate with families to establish tutoring schedules
• Possess current authorization to work in the United States

Home tutors are paid at a rate of $25.00 per hour.
