Compensation: Hourly contract rate

Reports to: Executive Director of Special Education

Roles Available:

Child Find Screening Coordinator- 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with screeners and planning team
  • Support and coordinate data collection pre-screening and during the screening process
  • Follow up with parents 
  • Coordinate providers and support staff for screening sessions.
  • Provide training for team members on the screening process.
  • Prepare, distribute, collect, and process all screening materials.
  • Coordinate team for reviewing results.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education

Commitment: 3 sessions of screening time for students, 1 training session with team, 1-2 follow up sessions with planning team to review screening. Approximately: 20 hours

 

Screeners (Teachers or Service Providers)-

  • Meet with coordinator to review screening process
  • Support and screen students ages 3-5
  • Support coordinator with material set up

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with typical early childhood development
  • Experience with assessing 3-5 year old for preschool and kindergarten readiness

Commitment: 3 sessions of screening time for students and 1 training session with coordinator. Approximately: 10 hours

 

Clerk:

  • Meet with coordinator to review screening process
  • Support screeners and families on 3 afternoons
  • Support coordinator with material set up
  • Support planning team with family notifications 

Commitment: 3 sessions of screening time for students, 1 training session with coordinator and post screening clerical support. Approximately: 15-20 hours
