The Salem High School Band is seeking a Percussion Instructor for the Fall 2024 season.
Purpose:
To assist in the educating of percussion students in the Salem High School Marching Band.
Salary:
$2,200 for the fall season.
Essential Functions:
- Managing attendance of percussion section students.
- Assist in the conducting of try-outs for student placement within the percussion section.
- Supervising and directing practices and performances of the percussion section.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of all equipment and uniforms used by the marching band including sticks, mallets, and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist in the organizing maintenance, repair, overhaul, and storage of percussion equipment.
- Assisting the marching band organization in preparing for all competitions and performances.
